Founder 1 The Mind Coach
Hi. My name is Mutaz Hashim. As the son of a Sudanese diplomat, I was born in Paris and brought up for most of my childhood between Brussels and Khartoum. My childhood was marked by several geographic, educational, and social changes. Despite the difficulties accompanying this process, my parents strove to meet our needs and provide us with solid support systems to give us the best chance at success. They have always done their utmost for our wellbeing.
My parents gave me a good foundation and supplied me with everything I needed to make my own choices. Thanks to them, I now have a family of my own who are my entire world and the reason for my success because they are the fuel that keeps me going.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Administration from the American University of Paris. My expertise lies in luxury travel consulting, my clients mainly coming from the Middle Eastern region. I'm experienced with customer service and upscale travel arrangements, helping to create unique experiences for my clients.
I was doing very well financially, making a lot of money and living life to the max until end 2017. With a snap of a finger, everything was gone.
I experienced a period of hardship, everything felt like it was coming apart. I became discouraged and lost sense of hope for the future. It was a difficult time, but I eventually began to rebuild and work towards recovery.
One of the most compelling questions I encountered was this: are states of mind contagious? After I noticed that my children were becoming increasingly depressed and feeling like their lives were meaningless, it struck me that the same emotions I felt could be affecting them. Investigating further into this phenomenon is how I started this journey.
Motivating myself to take action, I asked, "Do you want to constantly be living in flight and fight mode or do you want to live a life with meaning?" This proved to be a powerful turning point in my life.
My mindfulness journey began when I decided to turn my circumstances around. I started with meditating and centering my thoughts inwards. Over time, my outlook on life changed significantly.
Finally, I came to terms with the realisation that it was me who had caused the issues in my life, I had been unappreciative of financial and personal values. With that, a meaningful transformation process was launched.
Exploring the depths of human consciousness opened up a new path in life for me. The more I developed my mindfulness practices, the more value I placed on life, people, and money.
This ultimately led me to discover neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), which fascinated me and inspired me to become an NLP practitioner with Dr. Richard Bandler, cofounder of NLP.
When hypnotherapy caught my attention, I decided to become a Mindvalley Certified Hypnotherapist, with Paul Mckenna. I'm grateful that the universe has connected me with some of the most successful professionals in the industry. This experience has opened my eyes and given me an even greater appreciation for life - and it's only just beginning.
Through much reflection and introspection, I was able to uncover what brings me joy and fulfillment in life. Having discovered my purpose, I am now eager to share my insights with you in an effort to help you achieve a sense of peace and purposeful well-being.
